Yet more revelations about the Dome (sorry, the "O2"). The Evening Standard has established from Freedom of Information requests that John Prescott did discuss the casino bid with Phillip Anszhutz, after all (the story can also be seen on the Daily Mail's website here). Many people won't be greatly surprised, but with hard evidence now available, the danger of Greenwich's bid being further damaged is increased, not to mention the danger of the decision facing legal challenge if it does go Greenwich's way.

Meanwhile the enigmatic and mischievious bloggers over at GreenwichWatch claim that the development has had its environmentally-friendly systems removed for reasons of cost. Not great timing (if true), with the Stern report having just been published warning of the scale of the problems facing the world.
